Thank you to everyone for their donations towards the Dakota re-painting. The Just Giving appeal raised £695 and the re-painting has now been completed.
The Americans named the C-47, "SKYTRAIN" and the British and her Commonwealth knew them as "DAKOTA" which came from Douglas Aircraft Company Transport Aircraft... D.A.KO.T.A. Our Dakota is a
