PARKING
Parking is provided on a mixture of concrete hard standing, loose gravel and grass. Although there are no specific parking bays for disabled visitors, our staff are available to support people with specific parking requirements and direct them to suitable spaces dependent on their needs.

ACCESS TO BUILDINGS
There is level Access to most of the site buildings.  Access to the Peter Scoley Hall (PSH) which contains the café and shop as well as exhibits, is via a low concrete ramp. Access to the Memorial Room is via a wooden ramp at the end of PSH. There is a small ramp into both the Carey Powell and Zena Scoley rooms.  The Stanton Air Raid Shelter has a number of steps down so may not be suitable for disabled access, but we have a video showing the inside of the Shelter. This is available at the Shop.

Access to the Dakota Hanger is via a level concrete path. Inside the hanger there is a concrete pathway all around the aircraft. Access to the Dakota itself is via a number of steep steps and once inside, it is an enclosed environment and has a relatively steep incline. This may not be suitable for all disabled. A video showing the inside of the aircraft is available in the Shop.

HEARING
We are currently working on QR codes for audible access.

GENERAL
The lighting is low in the CP and ZS rooms, but the floor is level.

TOILETS
We have an easily accessible disabled toilet with hand rails and baby changing facilities. Access is via a low ramp. There is sufficient space inside for a wheel chair.
