Are you looking for a unique venue for your group to spend a day, or just a few hours? Our knowledgeable Stewards can offer an exceptional experience guiding you around the atmospheric site of the former RAF Metheringham and its original World War 2 buildings.

If your group is 20 people or more, please book in advance so that we can ensure we have enough volunteers onsite to cater for your needs. Groups will be able to visit during our usual opening hours (Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays) during the Season from 30th March 2024.

Venue Hire - A unique location for your special occasion.....
Comfortably seating up to 150 people the spacious and heated airfield gymnasium is available for hire and is suitable for club meetings, AGMs, parties or a stop off for coach tours.
In the past the hall has been used for a golden wedding anniversary, an 80th birthday party, 106 Squadron reunion, a private luncheon, a wedding reception and numerous coach parties and classic car rallies. What could be in store for the gymnasium next year?

Hall Hire Charges for 2025 are subject to change
You can hire the hall for your group on days when the visitor centre is NOT open to the public. (All day and evenings - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday) Closed for the winter.
2024 prices Peter Scoley Memorial Hall: £50 per hour or £300 per full day, 10am - 4pm
*Hire charges are reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
Evening Hire available on request. No Drinks Licence.
