If you are interested in WW2 aviation history, want to contribute to the community and can spare a few hours each week or even each month to volunteer at the Centre, you'll find it a rewarding and enjoyable pastime and somewhere you'll meet with like minded people who may become your friends for life. We are proud that our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. You only need to read our reviews and testimonials to realise that it's our people that make the difference. It’s really rewarding being a volunteer at Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre (MAVC). Our volunteers are responsible for keeping the memory of 106 Squadron and RAF Metheringham alive for future generations as well as the families and friends of those that served with 106 Squadron..
We have volunteer roles for all ages (over 18) and abilities. Full training will be provided for any role you wish to apply for.
