We are pleased to announce that our full 2026 lecture programme is now confirmed thanks to some great work by new Lecture Coordinator, Ray Sellers, ably assisted by Kate Sell who gathers all the information needed to promote each event.

As per last year, lectures are free to members presenting a valid membership card on the evening. For non-members, lectures cost £7.00 per person per event. This is payable at reception on arrival or tickets can be purchased in advance through our online shop.

Details of our first lecture can be found below and tickets for the event are now available in our online store HERE.

Our second lecture of 2026 is presented by Michael Credland, BEM, and the content couldn't be more local.

Michael's presentation is a richly illustrated talk on the story of Metheringham in both World Wars, profiling those men and women from the village and fen who served and died for our freedom.

The talk concentrates on many of the names listed on the Metheringham and Tanvats War Memorials together with stories of those who served in the armed forces and returned.

A must for anyone interested in the military history of Metheringham.
Avoid the queues. Tickets are now available from our online store HERE

We look forward to welcoming you back to Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre for our second lecture of the year.
